Made from high quality castings ASTM A27 Grade 60-30 or equivalent, with high tensile and yield strengths. Threads and shoulders are precision CNC machined, inspected and tested for accuracy and fitment and are subject to chemical & mechanical testing carried out by independent third party inspection companies.

Pressed steel thread protectors are coated in a clear rust, preventive oil for long term storage and can be phospated or painted to prevent bi-metal corrosion.
